Delphini Ltd was founded in 2001 under the name Delphini Lifting & Securing Ltd.
Based in Tilbury Freeport, Essex the family management team of, David Cormack (Managing Director), Martin Hale (Finance Director) and George Cormack (Operations Manager) built the foundations of the company to have a wide and varied marine and industrial customer base.
In 2007 the company expanded into the field of height safety and access equipment investing in a larger experienced workforce and changing the company name to Delphini Ltd.
To enable the company to provide a full service to our customers, in 2009 the company expanded again to include a design and manufacturing facility. Offering bespoke products we manufacture lifting and access solutions as well as creating a comprehensive and innovative range of yacht shipping cradles.
In 2015 we used our engineering knowledge to gain EN1090 Execution Class 2 which facilitated our move into structural steelwork in niche markets within the construction industry. This was followed in 2017 to an a expansion of our manufacturing facility to a 8000sq/ft factory in which we installed two 10Tonne overhead traveling cranes. Recently we have invested in CNC Plasma and Laser steel cutting beds as well as water cooled mig welding machines.
The company's expert and diverse team has allowed us to provide solutions and products to a huge range of customers. From providing structural steel to a whole range of industries, height safety services to central London properties owners and city offices to designing bespoke lifting cradles for 300 tonne super yachts. Our customer base has become truly worldwide as our name and reputation has spread.
Since 2001 the company's workforce has expanded from 5 to over 35 giving us the ability to confidently take on large contracts and manufacturing projects.
Being at heart a family company we treat our workforce and customers as an extension of our family bringing integrity and commitment to every aspect of the business.
Delphini is a full audited member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and have been ISO 9001 certified since 2004. We are accredited by CHAS, Achilles UVBD and Safecontractor and are members of The International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) and BSI Global.
We are also fully accredited to BS EN 1090-1 Execution Class 2 for the design and manufacture of structural steelwork, platforms, walkways, staircases and handrails etc.
We are also proud to be accredited to ISO 45001:2018, which is the international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).
